Notes

Frederick Nelson Alyea was born April 16, 1884 in Ameliasburgh Township of Prince Edward County, Ontario. His parents were James Henry Alyea & Elizabeth Jane Porter who are also buried in Carrying Place Cemetery. Frederick was one of five children born to James & Elizabeth. He married Georgina Frances Schryver October 17, 1906 in Murray Township and they had two children, Allan Frederick & Hilda May Frances. While Allan's burial location is currently unknown, Hilda is buried in Belleville Cemetery in Belleville, Ontario. Frederick died May 22, 1945 at his home in Murray Township at the age of 61.
