Notes

Thelma Myrtle Gibson was born on February 13, 1915 in Havelock, Ontario. She was the daughter of George Burton "Burt" Gibson (buried elsewhere in Carrying Place Cemetery) & Myrtle Alice Fox (buried here in the family plot). Thelma married Harold Grant Bonter on December 19, 1933 in Havelock, Ontario. They were the parents of Lenora, Dorothy (died in 2022 and was cremated) and Beverley (still living as of 2024, but is remembered on her parents headstone). Thelma died on May 9, 2012 at the Community Nursing Home in Warkworth, Ontario at the age of 97.
